Description

Late 18th century classical villa with additions of 1932.
South-east elevation: 2 storey, attic and basement, 3 bay
steps has doorpiece of attached tuscan columns and coved
reveals. Extending to either side are screen-walls each
with one blind round-headed opening either side of an
advanced centre pedimented bay with a blind venetian window.
Front of coursed squared rubble with polished dressings
with moulded eaves course and straight skews. Slated roof
with 2 segmental headed attic dormers; flanks: sneck-harled
with rectangular coped end-stacks. 1932 addition to rear: 2
storey attic and basement wing, projecting from rear to form
L plan, has bowed end to west.
