Description

Circa 1834. Classical 2 storey, 3 bay; ground floor:
painted ashlar centre door with flanking windows chanelled
rustication. 1st floor: polished ashlar, blind windows to
left and right formerly flanking central pedimented niche,
now removed. Deep projecting dentil cornice and blocking
course at wallhead.

Statement of Interest

Built as the Museum of the Tweedside Physical and Anti

quarian Society. Graded C(S) in present altered condition.
