Description

Founded by Richard de Morville circa 1162 on the site of a
church built by the Irish St. Wynnin (6th century). Most
striking part of the scanty remains is the south transept
gable with its three lancets; also extant are the doorway
into the east cloister walk, the chapter house entrance,
and part of the west front.
