Description

Early 19th century. Pair of 2-storey, 3-bay, terraced tenements. Harled with painted margins and stone cills.

S ELEVATION: Nos 7-11 with paired doorway at centre, timber doors with plate glass fanlights and windows in flanking bays; regular fenestration to 1st floor. Nos 13-15 mirror the above.

N ELEVATION: symmetrical fenestration including modern pitch-roofed stair tower breaking eaves at centre to each tenement.

Plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows. Modern red pantiles with slate eaves easing course. Coped harled stacks with cans.

Statement of Interest

In 1890 both tenements were the property of Mrs Janet Ross of 37 Townsend Place.
