Description

Dated 1785. 3-storey, 6-bay tenement. Coursed rubble (some droved), harl to sides and rear, raised long and short quoins. Base course over rendered plinth, eaves lintel course and eaves cornice. Pedimented doorcases with carved date and flowers over lintel below consoled cornice, door to right pedimented; windows in vertical ashlar bands.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Door in bay to right of centre with anthemion on pediment, windows in flanking bays; bays to left of centre with door and flanking windows. Regular fenestration to each floor above.

E ELEVATION: round stair tower projecting at centre, 2 windows to right and left of centre at each floor.

12- and 15-pane glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows. Concrete pantiles. Ashlar-coped skews and scroll skewputts.
