Description

Early 19th century. Terraced houses with later shops. 2-storeys and attic, corner building with 2-bays to St Cuthbert's Place, 2 to St Cuthbert's Street. Pebbledashed with painted margins and rusticted quoins at angle. 2 doors at centre and right to St Cuthbert's Street; pend, shared with No 7 at right. Modern enlarged shop windows in ground floor, 4 1st floor windows, 2 to each elevation, with 4-pane sashes. 3 dormers, 2 canted and piended, 1 smaller piended. Slate roof with red tile ridge, piended at angle, end satcks.
