Description

William Burn, 1831-8. Alteration 1886. T-plan Gothic church with 3-stage tower and broached spire projecting from central gable end. Yellow sandstone with red dressings. Tower with angle buttresses capped with octagonal finials. Recessed door under pointed arch with moulded reveals. Tall Y-traceried window above. triple belfry lights and lucarnes in spire. Simple lancets, tripled in gables and on S elevation. Low semi-circular parish room projects from S.

Galleried interior with plaster ribs, 2-tier panelled pulpit flanked by organ. One stained galss window in central light of S transept by William Meikle in memory of Rev. A C Campbell, dated 1913.
