Statement of Interest

Presenting its main elevation to the street, this house has a distinctive wide gap between the 1st floor windows and the eaves, a feature found in town houses of both Orkney and Shetland. It retains its crowstepped gables and harled stacks, and its NE angle has been chamfered for easier access to the narrow close along its N side.
