Description

18th (?) century with later alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay, near-symmetrical, rectangular-plan end-of-terrace house built on ground rising to W. Harled. Eaves course. 1st floor windows set close under eaves.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: deep-set, modern, part-glazed door at ground in bay to centre; small, narrow window at 1st floor above. Window t each floor in each bay flanking.

E (SIDE) ELEVATION: blank with gablehead stack.

12-pane timber sash and case windows, (2-pane timber sash and case central 1st floor window). Traditional, graded stone tiled roof (replaced); stone ridge; stone skews; harled, corniced gablehead stack to E; similar common stack to W; uPVC rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1998.

Statement of Interest

The easternmost end of a long terrace of mostly 18th century houses which takes the town out to the west.
