Description

Circa 1830 with later refronting and additions, probably
W & J Hay 1883. 2 storeys with dormerless attic; built
as 3-bay house, porch and south wing added. Coursers with
ashlar dressings and quoins, partly stugged. 3-window
northern block with single storey projecting porch, having
shaped parapet. Advanced gable to south with tripartite
at ground, bipartite above, with narrow hood moulded light
in gable. All windows have earred architraves, stepped at
centre. String over ground floor windows, raised in
semi-circle over tripartite and forming projecting coping
over door. Moulded eaves course, straight coped skews with
2 gable end stacks. Slate roof. South elevation, 3
windows to each floor, western bipartite.
