Earlier 19th century. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays. Painted
stugged ashlar and raised margins. Shop front to No 40,
entrance to No 38 at right. Lintel course above ground
floor, 3 windows to 1st floor. Eaves course. 2 piended
dormers, slate roof. Modern rear extension.
