Description

Circa 1875. Single storey with dormers, 3-bay cottage. Cream sandstone rubble, squared and coursed to N elevation, ashlar dressings. Chamfered reveals, overhanging eaves, decorated bargeboard.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: round-headed doorpiece with gabled timber brakcetted canopy porch, fanlit 6-panelled door. Bipartite window to right, canted window to left. 2 decorative gabled timber bipartite dormers with lancet lights and fleuron detail to jettied apex, rooflight to centre.

S (REAR) ELEVATION: lower single storey service wing projecting at centre, nepus gable above with round-headed window and apex stack, flanked by 2 simple dormers.

Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate roof, sandstone coped stacks to gables with moulded cans.

BOUNDARY WALL: cream sandstone rubble with semi-circular coping, decorative wrought-iron 2-leaf gate.
