Description

George Meikle Kemp, Architect. Built 1836-40. T-plan church. Rubble-built with ashlar dressings. Round-headed central door

with moulded reveals in each gable below tall triple round-

headed lights. Corbelled and finialled square birdcage

bellcote on north east gable. War memorial plaque to left of

north east door. 2 tall round-headed windows on each flank

wall. Windows all have simple lattice patterned leaded glass

panels. Shaped skews and slate roof. Low session house to

south west is entered from gabled and buttressed porch on

north west.

Statement of Interest

Ecclesiastical building in use. Modern low L-plan hall

extension from session house not included in listing.
