Description

COTTAGE: Probably Peddie and Kinnear c. 1875. 2 storey, gable to Abbey Street: later shop front at ground: straight skews with skewputts and finial at apex. North side to Prior's Wall: 3 bay, forestair to 1st floor, later canted bay window at ground floor to left. Coursed squared rubble with stugged dressings, slated roof, rectangular corniced brick stacks at ridge and E gable.

WALLS: late 18th century. Tall rubble enclosure wall with flagged cope, stepped up hill along Abbey Street with large semi-circular scallops containing good early 20th century wrought-iron work. Breached at South end by 2 roundheaded openings to public conveniences.
