Description

Circa 1875, 2-storey, double pile villa with symmetrical
gabled entrance front, 3-bay irregular garden elevation.
Snecked whinstone with sand-stone dressings. North elevation:
2 wide gables with simply cornice bipartites at ground in
projecting dressings, narrow recessed central bay with
projecting porch. East elevation: bold southern slightly
advanced gabled bay with 2-storey canted projection corbelled
over 1st floor with unusual stepped gable head; 2 northern
bays with ground and 1st floor windows, linked by use of
dressed stone, corbelled over ground, chamfered angles to 1st
floor projecting windows, gabled heads. Coped stacks,
octagonal flues, slate roof.
