Description

Later 19th century, single storey and attic, asymmetrical
cottage. Snecked whinstone with red sandstone dressings and
mannered rubble treatment to east gable end. South elevation:
Round arched door set behind pilastered doorpiece with shaped
blocking course, similar detail over slightly projecting
bipartite to east, gabled bay to west with bold 2-storey
semi-circular projection with 3 windows to each floor and
tall conical slate roof. East elevation: gabled with central
stack emphasised by decorative corbelling and margins; 2
flanking windows under pointed hood-moulds. Slate roof.
Octagonal gatepiers and decorative cast-iron gate.
