Description

Attributed to James MacLaren, later 19th century. 2-storey, asymmetrical 3-bay, L-plan villa; snecked and random rubble, polished and picked painted dressings, slate roof.

S ELEVATION: central entrance with round-headed keystoned doorpiece, plain glazed fanlight; similarly detailed small segmental arched window over, similar larger window below finialled dormerhead to right over canted ground floor window; advanced gable at L with similarly detailed ground windows. 2- and 4-pane sash and case glazing throughout; deep eaves corniced gable stacks at E and W.

W ELEVATION: gable treatment continues.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: stair set into re-entrant angle with round-headed margin glazed window. Later ground floor additions.
