Description

Dated 1882. 2-storey, 4-bay tenement, sandstone ashlar, base course, cornice above ground floor, 1st floor cill band course, eave cornice.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: ground floor painted, 5 bays, 2-leaf panelled door off-set to left, window to right, timber-mullioned bipartites flanking part of shop front, plate glass, panelled door to right, 4 windows symmetrical at 1st, raised margins, plaque to centre inscribed "Lodge No 15, 1882, Kilwinning", pilaster quoins.

W ELEVATION: adjoining 10/12 New Wynd.

E ELEVATION: adjoining 20/22 New Wynd.

Timber sash and case windows at 1st floor, plate glass glazing. Grey slate roof.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.

Statement of Interest

Formerly the 'Kilwinning' Masonic Hall, now with a shop on the ground floor and the "Struthers Memorial Church" on the 1st floor.
