Description

Earlier 19th century. 3-storey and attic, 3-bay tenement in irregular terrace. Painted ashlar.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Doorway to centre at ground, window above at 1st and 2nd floors, bays flanking with window at ground, 1st and 2nd floors, canted dormers above.

W ELEVATION: adjoining 2 Wharf Street.

E ELEVATION: adjoining 6 Wharf Street.

Timber sash and case windows, plate glass. Grey slate pitched roof. Coped skews, skewputts. Brick gablehead stack to W.

Statement of Interest

An important component in the old Harbour front. Part of the 1-12 Wharf Street B Group.
