Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 4-bay terraced flatted tenement. Sandstone ashlar to front, base course, band course above ground floor, large central nepus gable.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 2 doorways to centre and left of centre (originally both flanking centre window), rectangular fanlights, that to right boarded, 2 windows to right at ground (1 previously as door), 1 to left. 4-bay symmetrical 1st floor, round-arch window to nepus gable, piended dormers flanking and set high in pitch.

N ELEVATION: adjoining 7 Chapel Place.

S ELEVATION: adjoining 11 Chapel Place.

12-pane timber sash and case windows, plate glass replacement to left dormer. Grey slate pitched roof, stone skews, skewputts. Rendered gablehead stacks to N and S.
