Description

1903 W T Oldrieve. Edwardian Baroque, two storey 4 windows
wide frontage. Entrance bay to right, architraved doorpiece
bearing consoled dummy balcony; first floor window above
recessed and set in Doric columns, semi-circular open
pediment rises into raised parapet with cartouche of
Royal Arms in field. Left hand windows close spaced,
ground floor windows architraved and banded together Gibbsian
fashion. 1st floor windows recessed over cill cornice,
panelled pilasters containing swags hung from lions' heads
between them, main cornice and balustraded parapet screening
slated roof. Six pane upper sashes, double pane lower
sashes at 1st floor, ground floor windows recessed.
