Description

Circa 1880 - 2 storeys and attics Free Renaissance convent with
later 19th century balanced single storey extension on both sides.
Sited on axis of approach to Windsor Gardens. Near symmetrical
5 windows on 1st floor. Platformed piended slate roof and
squared rubble with ashlar dressings, quoins, corniced
eaves, raised, lugged door and window margins; ground floor
windows corniced; doorpiece corniced with semi-circular
shell pediment above. Slightly advanced centre bay
containing door flanked by window each side, 2 1st floor
windows under truncated crow stepped gable on corbel table,
stepped around 1st floor window heads and with pair of arched
windows under balustrade between 2 chimney stacks. 2 1st and
1 ground floor windows on left, and 1 window 1st floor and
bipartite ground floor on right. Semi-circular headed dormer
each side of central gable. Twin tympan end stacks with
bipartite window between. 4 pane sash windows.
