Description

Early 19th century, 3 storey, 5 bay facade with 6th bay
recessed at north. Painted coursed rubble; band courses and
eaves cornice painted in contrasting colour. Centre door;
ground floor windows set in arched panels, that in north bay
in blocked pend entrance, all with "art deco" glazing.
12-pane sashes to 1st and 2nd floor, cill and lintel courses;
cornice and blocking course; corniced end stacks; shallow
pitched slate roof.

Cosmetic treatment of dark band courses, blocked windows and

modern glazing blur original composition.
