Description

Late 18th century in origin, rebuilt earlier 19th century.
GREENHEAD: originally single-storey cottage raised 19th
century to 2-storey and attic house with single storey and
attic wings (that to right now Greenhead Cottage).
Harled over rough-rubble walling, main house with raised
margins and quoins. Single-light sash and case windows with
12-pane glazing pattern. Central double-leaf door with
narrow fanlight.
Timber gabled dormers, probably later 19th century. Steeply
pitched slate roof, coped end stacks. Wings 2-bay, that to
left taller with dormers breaking through eaves. 20th century
brick additions to both wings at rear.
