Description

1840, dower house of Tayfield. Single-storey to road, 2-storey to river, whinstone ashlar with sandstone dressings. 2-window and semi-circular R-doric column porch with segmental fanlight within, asymmetrical canted bay to river; low slated piend roof, broad eaves, octagonal shafted chimneys. Simple interior. Hooded lintels.
