Description

Circa 1800. 2-storey, 5-bay house reconstructed 1954 from 2 houses, Burgh Surveyor. Harled with painted margins; raised cills.

S ELEVATION: panelled door with strip fanlight set deep to centre of original E house. Windows in flanking bays and above; former house door replaced by window to W and blank above.

N ELEVATION: U-plan stair projection with entrance to No 23 at foot, and small barred light above, generous window above. Full-height later canted bay to outer W bay.

Small-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows. Slate roof. Ridge and W gable stacks.

Statement of Interest

Projecting outbuildings removed, 1954. Flatted.
