Description

Mid 19th century. 2-storey building on corner site. Coursed rubble; rendered at ground floor, harled on gable, all painted.

S (STREET) ELEVATION: base course. Plate glass shop front at centre; flanking fanlit doorways. Panelled door to right. Chamfered arrises to outer angle. Moulded cornice dividing storeys. Central 1st floor window with raised margin and recessed apron below. 4-pane upper and plate glass lower panels to sash windows. Moulded eaves cornice. Unusual decorative cast-iron gutter. Section of former mutual gable remaining on blank E gable.

Canted 19th century dormer. Ashlar gable head stacks. Plain skews. Slate roof.
