Description

1887. Rectangular block plan house with 1st floor breaking eaves, linked to church by abacking vestibule and church sacristy. Squared rubble with ashlar dressings.

W FRONT: linking passage recessed with narrow light to N, carved lintel; chamfered doorway to S with panelled door and fanlight. Gabled dormer above. 2 single lights at ground at N with French mansard dormer window above. Advanced gabled bay to S. Canted, 3-light ground floor bay with gabletted crenellation. Hoodmoulded 1st floor window.

Plate glass sash windows to ground floor, 4-pane to 1st floor. Steeply pitched, piended slate roof with red terracotta ridge. Tiles and ball finials; lead flashings to slopes. End stacks. Some timber bracket supports to simple barge boarded gables.
