Description

Mid 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house. Random rubble; rendered and lined as ashlar at front. Painted margins and raised cills. Rusticated quoins to S angle.

E ELEVATION: central doorway with consoled cornice, altered window to left. Small window at ground to right.

S GABLE: 2-bay. Concrete forestair added 1956 and window altered to doorway.

Variety of glazing patterns. Plain skews with gable head stack to W. Pantiled roof. Random rubble garden wall to S.

Statement of Interest

Absorbed into 59-61 High Street, 1956, currently a butcher's premises, (listed separately).
