Description

Mid to later 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical house. Random rubble, harled at E front and N side. Painted stone margins.

E (REAR) ELEVATION: central stair window. Remaining shutter brackets to jambs of 2 ground floor windows, N chimney gable blank.

W ELEVATION: central door with small window flanking to S. Modern flat-roofed outbuilding abutting.

12- and 4-pane sash windows. Plain skews. Concrete pantiled roof. End gable stacks; harled, with thackstane to N, and raised with brick to S.

Low rubble boundary wall, harled with rounded coping.

Statement of Interest

Sited obliquely by present road. Abutted on S gable by sizeable early 20th century semi-detached building. Ground level higher and so E front cills very low.
