Description

Peter Caldwell, architect, 1891. 4-storey, 15-bay tenement.
Ashlar. End pilaster strips. 4 pilastered close entries with
scrolled pediments. Central elliptically-arched pend with
rusticated surround and scrolled pediment. String course
links pediments. Cill band to 1st floor windows. All windows
bipartite except single sashes flanking close entries. 1st
and 2nd floor windows architraved, pilastered and corniced.
2nd floor windows with cartouche and frond over close entries.
3rd floor windows with moulded aprons Eaves cornice, and
blocking course. Bold panelled and pedimented wallhead stacks.
