Description

Andrew Heiton, c.1865. Mid Victorian Italianate. 2-storey
ashlar, asymmetrical composition main front to E, central
projecting gable with 3-window cast-iron balconied bow,
3-storey tower in S. re-entrant angle 3 arched windows top
stage, broad-eaved low-pitched pyramid roof; arched porch
with balustraded parapet and urn in re-entrant angle of
tower; segment-headed windows at ground floor, round arched
at 1st floor. Broad-eaved slated roof. 2 single-storey wings
at back, central archway to court; cottage attached to garden
wall single-storey and basement in fall of ground,
double-arched feature at basement.
