Description

David Rhind 1846, Italian Renaissance. 3-storey 5-window
palazzo, ashlar with quoined angles. Roman Doric pilastered
end doorpieces and balustraded area ground floor, pedimented
Corinthian aedicular windows and cantilevered, balustraded
balcony 1st floor, ornamented string course between 2nd and
3rd, 2nd floor windows architraved with cornices, bold
cornice, balustraded parapet. Similar 4-window S elevation to
lane, but without doorpieces and 1st floor balcony. N part of
facade set back except at ground floor, 1-window and door
office with balustraded parapet.
