course and moulded all courses, green slate roof.

HIGH STREET ELEVATION: To left corner entrance, basket headed doorway with panelled pilasters. Capitals modified Ionic, with ship motif on left, sun and cross on right. Elaborate frieze and cornice, with scrolled and floriated pediment. Above doorcase corner oriel corbelled out, with 3 corniced and transomed windows at first, 3 basket-arched windows at 2nd. Top of Oriel corbelled out to octagon, with steep-pitched Octagonal finalled roof. To right at ground large depressed-arched window, timber mullioned and transomed, with flanking pilasters and finials. Window margins moulded, heavy cornice with egg-and-dart moulding follows window head. To right of large window small basket arched window with ovals above, cutting cornice. Pilaster and cornice detail similar to large window. At first and second floors one single, one bipartite window, treated as in oriel. Dentillated cornice. Dormer with architraved cross window, round-headed pediment and ball finials.

CANAL STREET ELEVATION: Corner entrance to right, with 2 smaller depressed arched windows to left. Pilaster, cornice and finials similar to, but simpler than those to High Street. Large plain window to left and single storey wing beyond. Above depressed arch windows

2 single windows at ground and first, treated as on High Street, as is cornice. 2 tall panelled and coped wallhead stacks. Above plain window on left canted oriel, windows as described, with balustrade above wallhead in front of dormer with basket-arched bipartite,

round-headed pediment and ball finials.
