Description

1897. Circular polished grey granite plinth on cream coloured
granite base which incorporates trough. Plinth incorporates
small polished red granite basin each side, below taps;
shaped cap with carved crests surmounted by polished red
granite shaft with moulded apex and crown finial.

Statement of Interest

Fountain sited at junction of the Square with Union Street.

The plinth has carved coat of arms front and back and is

inscribed:
