Description

Circa 1800. 3-storey, 3-bay terraced tenement with shop at ground and pend (Sma? Vennel). Rubble with ashlar dressings, painted render at ground; base course, fascia band above ground, eaves band.

N (BAKER STREET) ELEVATION: 4 bays at ground, shop door flanked by 19th century shop windows to centre and left, pend entrance to right against adjoining property. Regular fenestration above, smaller windows to 2nd floor.

Timber sash and case windows with plate glass glazing. Graded grey slates. 2 Velux rooflights. Possible mutual stack to E gable.

Statement of Interest

B Group with Nos 4 and 6, 8, 10 and 12, 14, 18, 24 and 26, 28 and 30, 13 and 15, 27 and 29, 31, 33 and 35, 37 and 39, 49 and 51 Baker Street. Good traditional contribution to burgh streetscape.
