Mid 19th century. 3-storey and attic, 3-bay terraced tenement with shops at ground. Polished ashlar with painted render at ground, W elevation in rubble, stack in stugged ashlar. Continuous fascia band and cornice above ground, cill band, eaves band.
S (BAKER STREET) ELEVATION: 5 bays at ground arranged in 2 shops. Recessed entrance to left shop with 19th century shop window to outer left. Shop to right recessed entrance with fanlight flanked by 19th century shop windows. Regular fenestration above with 2 canted slate-hung dormers with bow-fronted roofs.
W ELEVATION: adjoining No14, upper part of gable exposed with stack in stugged ashlar.
Timber sash and case windows with 8-pane glazing, left window in 1st floor with lower plate glass sash. Grey slates, stack in W gable with 11 terracotta cans.
B Group with Nos 4 and 6, 8, 10 and 12, 14, 24 and 26, 28 and 30, 9 and 11, 13 and 15, 27 and 29, 31,33 and 35, 37 and 39, 49 and 51 Baker Street. Well detailed traditional design and glazing above ground contributing to burgh?s streetscape.
