Description

John Allan, dated 1879 and 1919. Italianate with Greek Thomson influence in the detail, 2-storey with 4-storey pyramid-roofed tower with heavy segment-headed doorpiece in re-entrant angle, bow-fronted bay at ground on W front: double-gabled E front, low-pitched slated roofs with broad eaves and decorative iron finials. Interesting thistle entrance gates of Thomson inspiration.
