Description

Style of John Allan 1890's. 2-storey and attic symmetrical
semi-detached snecked rubble with rock-faced dressings,
2-window (bipartites) between advanced canted bays with
piended roofs projected into small piended dormers, flat
roofs over the canted sections; set back flat-roofed entrance
bays with colonettes and sections of moulding bearing dummy
balconies on flanks; low out-buildings beyond with very steep
lean-to piended roofs. Unusual glazing with only top half of
upper sash small-paned.

Statement of Interest

Part of Kings Park Conservation Area group. The area is

an outstanding early to late Victorian villa development with

remarkably few later additions.
