Description

Gothic church, the original 1794 building now much re-modelled; it was "repaired" in 1831 and "received additions in 1885" (Groome). Some work looks later still. Gabled, tall and rectangular-plan with full-height narrow jamb on south flank capped by tall and finialed leaded belfry; parapetted square porch in re-entrant angle. Y-traceried and key-stoned tall windows to flanks (?Gothic tracery set in Georgian round arches). In west gable, rank of small lights at ground, larger round-arched gallery window above filled with simplified loop tracery. Harled; ashlar margins; slate roof. Low rear wing and quoins at east. Low boundary wall, plain iron railings. Interior not inspected for 1989 resurvey.
