Description

Late 19th century 2-storey double villa with iron-railed boundary walls. 4 (2 + 2) bays with inner doorways; full-height canted windows in outer bays, the left of which (at No 11) has a polygonal turret roof, while a gabled attic dormer sits behind that to right (ie at No 9); otherwise, the building is symmetrical. Painted render with contrasting detailing; horizontal banding divides floors. Windows with modern glazing. Timber divides in doorways form sidelights and fanlighs, but door framing to left is altered. End and centre axial stacks; slate roof of different slate type over each house. Boundary walls topped by decorative cast-iron railings; closed-spaced front gates, outer vehicle gates with square gatepiers.
