Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey with attic, 3-bay asymmetrical plan house with lower 2-storey single bay to outer right. Painted render. Base course; Ionic pilastered doorpiece with dentilled cornice; architraved openings with projecting cills; keystones to basket-arched lights of canted dormers.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central entrance; 2-panel timber door; letterbox fanlight; single window aligned above. Single windows to flanking bays. Canted dormers to outer left and right; single light segmental-arched dormer at centre. Single timber door to right; 2 leaf timber garage door to outer right; single window at 1st.

12-pane sash and case timber windows; 4-pane and 2-pane to dormers. Grey slate roof; stone skews; corniced gablehead stacks; circular cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.

A prominent classical building which dominates the street with its height. The building retains its glazing and has a notable doorpiece.
