Description

Mid 19th century arcaded single storey Market building, set
back with courtyard in front. Originally 6 central elliptical
arches with similar arches and 1 door in each wider, 1st and
9th bays, warehousing with loft at north end accommodated in
the slope of the land. Built with squared rubble blocks and
ashlar voussoirs, simple coved eaves cornice, slate roof.
(2 arcades remain to be restored 1982).
