2-storey public house on corner site, comprised of properties of 2 different dates; 1-3 Bridge Street, early 19th century, and 2 Church Street, circa 1800. Painted render with painted ashlar base course and majority of dressings; Frieze and moulded cornice dividing 1st and 2nd floor of Bridge Street property; harled rears. Panelled doors. Red tiled roofs, piended to corner; ashlar coped skews; mutual gable stacks, brick to N gables.
1-3 BRIDGE STREET: on corner site with 3-bays to S and E elevations and adjoining properties to N and W. S elevation with door at centre and further door to outer left, 2 public house windows; 2 1st floor windows; tall sandstone set-off wallhead stack to right of centre. E elevation with 3 pub windows at ground and 3 1st floor windows.
Plate glass sash and case windows at 1st floor. Mutual gable end stacks, brick to N end; ashlar coped skews.
2 CHURCH STREET: originally 3-bay; door at centre blocked, and later door inserted to right; barred windows; blocked window in outer right bay and window to outer left. 3 1st floor windows. Altered windows at ground and rear; 2 1st floor windows.
12-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows.
INTERIOR: not seen (1989).
