Circa 1830. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan, tripartite, gabled house. Pedimented bay to centre. Harled, coursed Caithness stone slabs. Base course; raised, blocked margins to openings.
NE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: slightly advanced central bay; panelled door to centre, letterbox fanlight; flanking narrow blind bays to door and window above; cavetto moulded pediment breaking eaves. Regular fenestration to flanking bays, except large plate glass window to ground floor right.
SE (SIDE) ELEVATION: abutting No 17
NW (SIDE) ELEVATION: abutting No 19.
SW (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen 2001.
INTERIOR: not seen 2001.
Plate glass sash and case windows. Concrete tiles. Coped skews and gable stacks. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
