Description

Early 19th century. Ice house built into soil bank in wood to E of Parkhead. Canted front; soil cover on top. Large droved ashlar blocks with ashlar coping. Low square door at centre, jambs reset for door, cast-iron hinges to left.

INTERIOR: coved back wall; red brick-lined at lower level; whinstone and partial harl at upper level.
