Description

Late 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan villa. Stugged sqaured and snecked sandstone with ashlar margins and dressings. Base course; band course. Advanced eaves, exposed rafters. Ashlar transoms.

MAIN ELEVATION: door at centre, tripartite bas-relief sculpture above door, 2-leaf panelled storm door, inner half-glazed door, small window above directly under eaves. Narrow gabled bay advanced to outer right, tripartite windows with windows on returns. Square projecting window at ground outer left, blocking course, tripartite window, narrow window on returns, bipartite window at 1st floor, ashlar mullion and transom.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows; leaded stained glass upper lights. Grey slate roof, lead flashings; ashlar corniced ridge stacks.

BOUNDARY WALL: low rubble boundary wall with ashlar saddleback coping; modern railings.
