Description

Late 19th century, possibly incorporating an earlier building. Small, single storey hall, squared rubble with polished ashlar dressings. 4-bay; doorway to outer left, 2-leaf timber boarded door. 3 windows to left breaking eaves in catslide dormers. 3 ventilator openings near ground. Timber sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing pattern. Red pantiles, ashlar coped skews and skewputts, ashlar end stacks with simple cornice. Small, piend-roofed pantiled addition in garden at rear (kiln?). Interior not seen (1995).

Statement of Interest

Cant describes this as one of the oldest surviving buildings on Ravenscroft Street; however, it has been extensively remodelled. Recently in use as a pottery by the Rev Skinner's Pioneer Tec project.
