Description

Early-mid 19th century. Pair of single storey over basement, terraced cottages associated with old smithy to SE, built into slope; 2-storey at rear. Random rubble with ashlar dressings. Cottages 3-bay, with central door and flanking windows, modern glazing. No has lean-to addition at basement level against gable. Grey slates, ashlar coped skews and end and mutual stacks with simple cornice. Former smithy to S; square on plan rubble building with double doors to road, felt covered piended roof.
