Description

Earlier 20th century. Hand operated steel girder turntable "Ransomes & Rapier Ltd., Ipswich, England", with boarded wooden deck and light steel handrails in concrete and engineering brick pit.

Statement of Interest

One of very few surviving turntables in Scotland. Category A listed for rare survival of an important type.
